Deploy With Capistrano

We have a new wiki page up called DeployWithCapistrano.
Honestly, we should probably make deployment via Capistrano the standard way of installing OneBody, and we may very well do so in the future, but there is some learning curve involved. For now, we’ll leave it as an optional component.

No more releases (for a while anyway).
We’ve removed all releases from Rubyforge, and all references to official releases from the wiki. Why? Because the idea of a “release” is to indicate that the code has been tested and blessed and is ready to install. Fact is, OneBody releases were no more tested or blessed or [...]

How To Contribute

This has been a good week for OneBody; we’ve had several people email in to ask how they can get involved. So, I typed up a HowToContribute wiki page with tips for getting started, including use of Git and GitHub.com, sending changes, and more. If you were wondering where to jump in, this should help.

Release: 0.2.2

The latest code has been released as 0.2.2. Most of the updates are minor bug fixes, but there are also a couple of decent sized reworkings included in this release as well.

Email handling has been completely reworked to allow us remove that pesky random security code tacked on the from-address of all outgoing email. Now [...]
